The head was a known issue from 04 to part of 06 with the 4 and 5 bangers both. Some went as soon as 20k. There was a TSB on it and a lot of history for the chains going due to it..the dealer verbally said that plus I found enough other evidence online. Really didn't have too many other issues with it though

Hey Becky, about half of Lawrence's fire dept is at the river. Saw one guy in a dry suit sitting on the edge. Went past the hot dog place and there were cops with this tiny tiny puppy! He was adorable!!!!

Why did they need the dry suit? Looked like someone or something was on the ice or that sketchy girder beam across the channel looked like it was gonna come down... Please find out!!! I'm so interested

Makes sense to me Alex if you have to pull it apart anyways.

Sitting at Denny's. One ambulance driving towards the highway and a fire truck coming to Lawrence, both with lights on

Sounds like something/someone might be in the river. I haven't heard anything as of yet. Thank god I don't work Fridays anymore. I'm sure I would be driving around the city involved in this fiasco if I was working today. I'll send out a couple txts to see what's up.

Yes, it would work if I hit the lock/unlock button on the door and also if I manually used the key or flipped the lock using the button. The fob wouldn't work though. It's weird, it's almost like the truck sends a stronger current when you hit the button inside vs. the fob button.

Just a tip, get the actuator out of the truck and on a flat work bench. Pay attention when you open the actuator case so you know how it all goes back together when you're done. Lastly, check that the actuator functions properly before putting it in the door and then again make sure everything works before you put the interior door panel back in, otherwise you could end up locking the door shut and having to break something to get it opened again. The handle uses a different mechanism than the interior handle so, if you put the actuator together incorrectly, one will work and one won't.

The crank pulley still makes me nervous. I was able to find a couple threads on XRU where guys replaced their pulleys and had engine balancing problems. Granted, those guys do all sorts of crap to their engines so it could have been caused by something else but it still makes me nervous.

Start to finish, it'll take you an hour each side with some down time for figuring out how everything goes together. You just pop the door panel off, peel back that plastic sheet thing, 3 bolts on the door jamb side of the door and the actuator pops out (there are cables running to the actuator from the interior door latch and lock and then 2 rods that mate to it for the exterior door latch and lock). Lining everything back up for the reinstall usually prompts a variety of short, 4 letter words...

dont see that happening. Maybe with over 8psi but you lower will grenade. Full rotating assembly is a wise decision on a build that may exceed 8psi. Most stock engines will not handle more than 4-7psi and will take the abuse of higher pressures but something WILL GIVE. Also rotext blower suck, seals leak all the time and they require blow offs Atmospheric (ricer) or recirc stealthy and power isnt lost. They are more like belt driven turbo chargers. Now if you want BIG gains and strady and BOOST on demand ROOTS style all the way only down side is some a stupid loud.
These are some pics of what I play with at work. My pictures

After completely tearing down and inspecting the internals, also found bad low-speed bearings on the input shaft leaking oil from the input and compressor seals

and the mighty 8-71 which would rob all your power from your 4.0 it would steal all of it. need major cubes to even run such thing
