Thank fully my parents love me. I had a scholar ship for my AS then got a 5k one for BS. Not much as it should. around 45k I think Tuition is $6500

 

That's at the stock 6 or 7 PSI. I don't mind getting a second 1GR-FE block to sleeve and bore out, then making it stronger. I'm not gonna be running a 12PSI monster or anything.

 

You should start researching on XRU and Torspd's threads... The 1GR doesn't seem all that easy to beef up and it certainly doesn't seem cheap either.

Have you looked into getting a set of headers and a crossover pipe? Open up your exhaust and you'll get decent gains now and they'll still help once you get blown.

 

Make sure you have it balanced properly. We use these on all of our build packages. Granted you dont need something like this

You realize the cost of that? and 12psi is weak lmao jk. I'm use to seeing the gauges peg 45-60. Some diesels peg 90

I've been debating on boosting the engine, or getting lightweight parts for it instead. Looking at lightweight clutch/flywheel combos, dunno if anyone makes carbon fiber drive shafts for our trucks either. Should at least free up power and increase MPGs.

This is what I meant. I know it'll fit, its a matter of whether or not its mass is deigned to help damp engine vibs. You go to a lightweight one, you're losing rotational mass, but also damping

Sure am. I got pretty nerdy with my track car. And the science/physics behind cars/ engines/ suspension etc.. gives me hard on cause I'm a nerd in general. I get paid to get my nerd on every day.

I'd go with the lightweight pulleys for all but the crank. Then make up for it by creating more power elsewhere with other mods. Having a heavier crank isn't necessarily a bad thing... Think torque.

 

Looks like it's mostly for the Supra and it's Lexus counterpart.
