We looked their but my discount would only apply to a purchase of a new vehicle which she doesn't want a 72mo payment I agree lol. It is fun to play the game and I don't back down, I wasn't going to leave I just left to get the price down. My father always did this so I do it now. Like my Tacoma he and I talked down from $16,500 all the way to $11,850 with a $1000 trade and I put $9500 down and financed the rest. Trucks paid off I lost a good chunk of my savings about 80% but I don't want a monthly payment. I just paid it off. I understand many cant dish out 35k for a brand new car and financing makes complete sense but in her little head she NEEDS new gadgets, Tech gear and loves new cars. If she can't make a payment I'd gladly giver the $120 but by no means am I on the lease.

Drag me? Or John? A XJ on tons done correctly is excellent until the unibody folds inhalf. I've seen a few Tayota pickups around for sale.

Saw this lowered weird Tacoma before never seen a 2nd gen lowered with a body kit and weird wheels. Had a iForce V8 emblem on the tailgate

I missed out on the game for a while, but I was an auction buyer before I bought new. Been doing those since I was 6 yrs old.

And hell if you got no payment yourself that's fine, that's probably part of the reason you saved up for all that time. I myself don't think I could do a 35k loan either especially with a mortgage.

I'm with your lady on that last part. I'm always buying CDs..my wife cannot understand it for the life of her.

    I love x runners. A long time ago before i could afford a tacoma i really wanted a x-runner. Then i bought a shitty s-10 with 31s and a 1" body lift :anonymous: and decided i didn't want a street truck anymore

    So it's a v6 with a posing v8 logo like Alex's hybrid one?

Didn't know people still use those things. What's a CD? It's not 1997 now lol. Get an iPod or smartphone that can do Internet radio.

Pretty much, unless that person actually swapped engines...

I still buy CDs because of the sound quality. Most online stores sell MP3s with lossy compression. I rip them all to FLAC afterwards. I've only been using CDs lately because I have the stock radio in. I need to put one of my other radios in soon.

I own maybe 10 CD's that are burned..because I own the original and it's out of print so I don't want to break it or lose it. The sound quality loss on MP3 irks me..although I'll give you the average bear may not see it I will on my system.

The other thing is a lot of my musical taste is in things that you would have trouble finding on Net or satellite radio even.

I was saying Rob could drag John off the trail, like he did last weekend. Sorry, too soon?

All that body kit crap is stock on an X-runner. The V8 emblem is just for horsepower.

    I still use CD's :anonymous:

Did you see the truck Toyota put together for Sema?? It was an X-runner with a supercharged 5.7L V8 dropped in.

Meh... I'd rather have a fast, nimble 2-seater car along with my truck vs. spending a bunch of money trying to make a lifted 4wd truck go fast. :notsure:

One that I let get away as a kid was my Datsun 280ZX. The body rot had gone too far for me to be able to do anything with, but if I only still had that and dropped in a V8..mmmmm

I used to have sports cars. Fun, but gets me in trouble too easy. I just want the power/sound in the truck sometimes.
