my point is not why some people have them and some do not... it is that people who did not pay for them, have them, while people who HAVE paid, do not have them. puts a sour taste in people's mouths.

 

OK, nice weekend coming up...who is working/mod's on saturday then enjoying SUNDAY with the family ????

Ridgeline will be gone...momma will be organizing her Lexus and my Tacoma will be getting some serious attention; finally be painting the rear bumper,rotating tires & painting neccesary parts behind said wheels ..

If time allows I may remove & paint the grill PLUS "Find" space for incoming fog lites,prep dash for new switches and put final touches on the " shovel" rack in the bed...

 

Nerf bars arrived! What do I need to install those for tools? Torque wrench needed or just helpful?

 

no, just tighten unt you cant. air tools would make short work of it.

I remember some of you guys had issues with brake lines mounting the sliders. Is this also likely to be the case with these, and if so what is the issue/fix?

You shouldn't have an issue mounting steps. The side steps mount to the body, the sliders mount to the frame. The body should have threaded nuts built into the underside and the steps should just bolt right up. The nuts should be covered with a plastic cap (at least that's how the double cabs are, I'm assuming the access cabs are the same way).

 

Fixed that for ya..

Seth, they look to be identical to mine in the pic.

 

Like I said, I'm speaking from experience from a double cab and making the assumption that the access cabs are the same. Look under your cab, if you see pairs of black plastic caps, those are the threaded points to attach the steps to the cab. So basically, I garuntee nuthin

 

Edit--forgot to mention the S2 shock hoops also in transit (Evan don't hate on me more please)

I think they are. Doing some googling, the length works, but in order for the bottom of the mounting plate (the horizontal piece) to sit flush with the bottom of the frame, you would need a body lift or to modify the mounting plate.

 

Need to mount CB connector box somewhere under the dash i guess. Haven't looked under there yet. Got a Cobra 75wxst. Also need to get an antenna. Not sure what to get. A big whip or something small and magnetic. Wondering if you guys put your radio's on a switch or run them direct to the battery. Over and out.......lol
