This is a rant and I'm fucking pissed beyond belief . I just found out that the guy that one the damm 300 million dollar lottery is a damm freaking illegal Immigrant guy.. That pisses me off so much. He has no papers, we pay for him to go to school, but he can play the lottery and win. That's just not right. Maybe I'm taking this alittle too serious but it's not right at all. He comes her illegal and gets a job when people that live here can't even find one and wins the lottery. I hope someone steals all that money he has!! Am I taking this to far or does people agree with me?

 

I'm sorry dude. I hope they give you the job back or at least you can find another one soon. That sucks. They shouldn't have laid you off if you have a contract. Stupid

I'll add to it that what infuriates me is then people who really need help can't seem to get it. A guy I knew had that happen, his mom needed open heart surgery and was told she can't work for at least a year. SSI, welfare, disability all would not help her and it was just her and my buddy who made $7 an hour.

 

If you use pressure treated (which you should for ramps in my opinion), then paints and grip tape won't stick to it. You'd need a metal cleat type thing to get grip when it gets wet. I used to have a set of wood ramps and I wouldn't even attempt to try and load the motorcycle if the tire or the ramp was even the slightest bit wet. I now have those folding aluminum ramps with the bend at the top and they have lots of traction for the rear tire.

That's sucks. She can't get help or no money from the government but people can come from Mexico and get whatever they want. It's not far at all. That's what gets me mad. I was 2 days from going to auto tech school. Had my apartment and everything set and at the last minute they declined my loan and said we can't give you money cause your dad makes too much. Fucking bullshit. He is not even rich. So cause of that I couldn't go to school but these kids that are here illegal can go for free. Doesn't make sense at all. I don't get it

Now that said I don't place blame on a child brought here at say 3 yrs old that had no control over it, but if you're old enough to go to college then apply for citizenship. I'll grant you it's not easy and could be made easier perhaps, but that's how it is now so you do what you need to do.

Same thing here, they went on my income when I went to transfer to get my Bachelors even though I lived at home still. My income was under $10k. Stonehill College wouldn't give me one dime even with being a straight A student who was in Phi Theta Kappa (honor society). They told me sorry we can't give everyone a free ride. I said "that's fine but you know that telling me I have to pay $13k after my loan is something my pretax income won't even do..I guess it doesn't pay to be a good student, just one that isn't from here". My last comment was telling the lady that my father graduated Stonehill and we both wanted me to follow his footsteps there..and telling her not to mail my father another thing asking for donations since they won't be getting another $500 a year from him.

I thought I would ping the New England crowd. Been reading through tire suggestions on this site. I've got a double cab Off-Road with the Rugged Trails now (stock 16" rims). Looking for something good in snow and good in beach sand. I like the look of the Wranger Duratrac's but they size 265/75 R16 and seem like they might be tight fit (some people on here say they rub, some say they don't). Commute is 15 mins back roads so not on highway much but thinking of getting a popup camper and would be towing that.

 

I didn't know illegal immigrants could win the lottery. I wonder if 3,711,616,088 pesos can buy Mexico...

 

Funny story about someone being called a racist:

20 years ago on his rookie tour of duty on the LAPD, my cousin pulled over a car for speeding..guy was 20 or more over the limit, enough to where they must have known. It was about 9pm and the car had limo tint or darker (if darker exists) on all the windows side and rear. Before my cousin even got to the rear bumper the guy cracks the window and yells "you just stopped me because I'm black!" Mind you he was still in the car not even leaning out so my cousin had no idea what the person looked like especially with the blacked out windows. Can't imagine how the guy thought calling a cop a racist would get him out of the ticket even if the allegation was true.

My cousin wrote the guy a well-deserved ticket and said "oh next time you want to mouth off, say 'you only stopped me because I was speeding' and you might get lucky that I'll be laughing too hard to write the ticket!"
