Probably just for plinking. Can't even find cheap ammo to plink with anymore.

Not with a 22! I have a 22 that's just fun and cheap to shoot but I couldn't find any ammo since about 2 weeks after Sandy Hook. Shelves have been pretty much empty ever since, especially in certain calibers.

Also, we can't hunt with rifles here in MA, even a .22. Only shotgun, bow, or muzzle loader.

I found a few hundred rounds through my dad in NY. Still can't find it around here. I've been able to find shells fairly easily, but .22lr has been cleared off the shelves for a while now.

The lawmakers are just nostalgic and like to keep to their revolutionary roots. Obviously, who wouldn't want a muzzle loader for hunting. Can't think of anything better:rolleyes:.

Also, insert obligatory "think of the children" line here...

In MA you cant even use a .22 for small game? Thats insane!

Got to love the inline muzzleloaders, can shoot accurately to 150+ easily and after a 3-9x40 scope, they are deadly

Didn't realize. I haven't needed to buy in while. Well stocked. Rhode Island same thing Bow, Muzzleloader, shotgun. Muzzleloader is awesome here. peak rut. Have a couple big cal rifles collecting dust. Hoping for a NH moose tag again.
