I will sweat them. I will also fix the trap. I just need to come up with a plan to leave the trap and clean out accessable and not look like ass

The trap is in the ceiling and the clean out is in the wall for the hallway, but it faces the bathroom

I will prob cut it out and replace it and make it face the hall cause looking at it closer it lands inside the dimensions for the corner shower system

I figure the trap I can make a cabinet or something like that. It is the basement shower so not to worried about it. I have another cabinet/box for the kitchen plumbing already in the basement

The trap is in the ceiling but the shower is in a finished basement? Im lost, im not a plumber haha. I can tell you how i would make a nice looking access panel in the hallway wall to get to the cleanout though

Yes you win a cigar. The trap is for a tub up stairs and the cleanout is for the main on that side of the house

    Find a new plumber...

    :yay:

That's ok, when Kendra is at her shower, I'm going to do the same thing, bake my headlights and fix my projectors.

Or maybe i should just find a new job, i finally got the call i have been waiting for, time for me to make some big decisions.

    Pros of new job:

50% pay increase as a starting pay over what i make now
All very high end work for big money customers
I will learn alot, the guy hiring me is very skilled in wood working among other trades
It will be all 1099 so no taxes taken out of my weekly paycheck

    Cons of new job:

No benifits anymore, i have health, dental, 401k plus the usual disability and workmans comp
No more work van, the tacoma will be my full time work truck
No more slacking off at work (ie. no checking tacomaworld during work hours)
Self employment will make it harder for me to get a mortgage
Possibility that work may not be as steady
I will have to get better contractors insurance and my own health insurance

What do you guys think, i am leaning towards taking the job, i really dont want to be stuck with the company i work for now for the rest of my life
