And you left me out! Bah!

But hey..GM by birth, Toyota by choice until GM learns about customer service and honesty in dealing with the person who pays the bills..that's me and anyone else who buys a GM product. I'll not add "or is a taxpayer", that's too easy haha

For the most part yes, never had any huge issues in all the 22 years I drove GM. Those that I did such as the transmission in my old Camaro I'm sure were at least in part to being old, that car had 130k when it went.

Re the dealers and corporate, they have a long way to go.

I am still fighting the first dealer to get the diagnostic fee back from them confirming the head was junk, as per GM's own TSB. The service mgr (who in fairness didn't work there last year) tells me he isn't diagnosing it free so I can let someone else fix it. I explained that I agree with that thought, but they refused to fix it. Currently this is with the owner and I dropped off the paperwork he asked for Monday confirming the head was replaced as a warranty. That poor salesman who came running up to me on the lot quickly wished he hadn't..he then asked what it would take to get me back to GM. I showed him the 3rd page of the repair order where it showed I paid almost $2k and was told it would be refunded by GM and it never was, GM told me the dealer lied to me but still wouldn't budge. I then said "if you can get me that back, I'd be very likely to come back".

yeah... it was my first car. bought it for 1200 bucks, got thru HS, junked it for 150 bucks, and bought a 2wd S10 for 3000. decided 2wd was junk for commuting to college, gave it to my mom as a yard/dump rig, and bought a colorado. was fine for a year until the rear end blew pulling my jet ski and i had to put it in 4wd to get it home. then limped it to trade it in for a jeep grand cherokee. HUGE POS. traded that for my first tacoma, and its been night and day vs all the other shit ive had.. which was GM and chrysler... will never own another one of either.
