Ozzfest 96 best show I've been to hands down

 

I don't have medical I'm with my parents till I'm 35 LMFAO yea I know it's long. Have dental, eye and 401k. You can book hours in warranty I do a Ton of that. Regular intervals is where I make the most. Oil and rotate 10 mins books .3. Move on and on but like you said if you can work fast and have left overs that's where you make your money. Oh and FUCK THE PARTS COUNTER. I think they should have everything and I hate waiting for shit. Like hello I'm loosing money here

 

Two guys got layed off yesterday from my company and there is still one more to go says the rumour mill.

Woodstock '99 hands down greatest concert I've been to...It was great...except for that whole riot thing...To this day I don't know how nobody was killed

Ozzfest was the one show you'd hit in summer hands down. 99 was great..Zombie, Sabbath, Slayer, Deftones, Primus, Godsmack. Any one of those (exception of Deftones) by themselves will get me to buy.

96 looks pretty sweet too..longtime Powerman 5000 fan am I..

 

Come to think of it the last Ozzfest I did was 2003. Great lineup..Motogrator (Ivan's band before 5FDP), Killswitch Engage, Shadows Fall, Chimaira, Disturbed, Korn, Marilyn Manson..then Ozzy came out and sucked pork.

 

What year was sabbath judas preist and slayer?

 

That was 2004. I wanted to go to that one just for Judas Priest but couldn't make it..finally saw them in 2011 with Black Label Society.

 

Thats the only year i have been. I dont remember much of it tho lol

 

Haha..only show I got horribly loaded at was Aerosmith 98-99 NYE. Luxury box at the Gahden which included free booze all night. I remember the whole show but blacked out leaving the place.

Believe me I've drank my fill at many shows, just that that was the only one I've blacked out at. I also didn't go to nearly as many shows then as I do now..I spent tons of time at the old Playoffs in Weymouth.

 

The line up for the first 3 years was good. After that, meh.

 

I figure if I can find 2 bands I want to see, I'll buy for a festival/all-day thing. That can work against me with all the different bands I like at a Ozzfest/Mayhem type show with more than one stage, so far I've been good though.

 

I have video from them in worcester in 2000/2001...Dope, Chevelle, Static-X and Powerman 5000...They used aluminum bolts in security barriers in front of the stage and when static x came out the crowd surged forward, the bolts snapped and like 100 ppl were smushed into the stage...I was filming from the pit when it happened..VERY loud crack

 

And that vid I would love to see.

Never got to see them till about 6 yrs ago, but found out about them in 95..have a few of the rare albums as well, though I'd love the first pressing of AFD?

I was there mainly for pantera . Here is the lineup


Main Stage: Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Marilyn Manson (starting 6/15) **, Pantera, Type O Negative, Fear Factory, Machine Head, Powerman 5000.
2nd Stage: Downset, Neurosis, Slo Burn, Coal Chamber, Drain STH, Vision Of Disorder.

Thoses late 90's were a blurr . To much partying .

Pretty tight first stage. Pantera was one I never got to see..much as I liked the rest of the band, I think Phil is a total POS. Same reason I never got much into Limp Bizkit.

 

They put on a good show . I've seen them 4-5 times . I haven't been to a show in a few years . Last show was slayer / killswitch engage at the palladium .

 

My last show was CSN at the Wilbur....
