Could it be some sort of loss of power from your exhaust? Some back pressure is good; maybe you have too little and your ECU is freaking the fuck out, doling out more fuel to create more combustion for the lack it senses (though your engine is running fine without the ECU intervening)....

It'd be interesting to see a dyno test between your truck and someone else who is running the same size diameter tire you have, but without the exhaust! Maybe you would figure something out there. Who knows?

I'm now thinking that it might have to do with my muffler. I've had this muffler for about 5 years. It's a flow master 40 series. Had it on my 2 rams and now my tacoma and I'm thinking it's time for a change. I jut can't decide what to go with. I want something better but still as loud. The magnoflows are good but there not loud enough then the muffler I have now. I was looking at the wicked flow muffler. They look good too. I want something that flows better then the flow master buy has the same loud sound .Hmmmm??

Would make a really awesome trail truck:D
If your MPGS are awful it could also be a stuck caliper or the drums packed with mud. Good test for the caliper is to jack the brakes goin down the road if they steering wheel twists to one direction its sticky.

This thing is begging to be made into a trail truck. I would be all over it if I had the money laying around.
