Sorry no "limo"..anything larger than the "Bed" and I recruit the 8' box of a GMC my cousin owns or my "Office"....usually EVERYTHING fits in an 18 yard box

I guess this rain will make for more "research" internet style,then find a few scenarios to try....

I have one of those also (except mine's not carpeted).

Tools slide underneath and the top stays open and is nice and flat for moving stuff. Sheet goods can lay on top with the tailgate down and the glass from the shell will still close just fine.

 

Damn... those things are beefy!

 

Thats nice! I am debating ditching the tonneau cover and getting a cap. Still not sure if I want to do it though

I never liked caps until I owned one. My lifestyle changed and it made sense for me to have the additional dry, lockable storage. I got lucky and found mine on TW fairly local at a good price and even the right color! Now, I honestly think my next vehicle will be an SUV (already think I know what one) since I like the added space and use a trailer for anything big, heavy and/or dirty anyways.

No way in hell I'd spend that much on tires. I get pissy when I approach the $200/tire mark! For a trail rig, I'd be hard pressed to buy anything more expensive than Treadwrights

 

Holy hell. That's alot of damm money just for one tire. Maybe if there lasted a lifetime and never wore down then I would get it but that's alot of dough. I could buy 2 lifts with that money haha

 

I could get equipped with a used mig and plasma cutter for that kind of money.

Agreed, my buddies running the 39" iroks, NOT cheap, but like we all say, you gotta pay to play, trail rig just means off road money sponge.

 

I suppose if they're only used off road, they probably last a long time, right?

 

In theory I'd say yes.. both b/c a trail rig isn't a daily driver, and in that there's not as much driving on asphalt.

That said..imagine if you puncture one of those on a trail? And that you'll have to replace all 4 since you're 4wd? GRRR
