RI is like a mini Mass, whatever Mass does, RI tries to follow. Anyone outside of New England thinks we're Massholes anyway. We're honorary Massholes!

haha Everyone says the same of people here directly in Boston. You need to know how to drive around the rotaries! The one at exit 15 at JFK is one of the worst if you guys know what I'm talking about. But I drive through there all the time so I'm used to it.

Like any Mass. driver can talk about that...

Of all the places I've lived and driven through regularly, MA consistantly has some of the worst, most inconsiderate drivers on the road. I challenge you to argue that and keep a straight face.

I would love to live in a place like that. Unfortunately, the jobs aren't there so support the house so for now I'm stuck!

Drivers like me drive differently. Yes, we are the people that kind of have to inch out when the lane closer to you has no oncoming traffic. Then when the lane going from right to left opens up, we go.

The funny thing is that AAA has warnings in their travel booklets to out of state drivers as to how aggressive mass drivers are haha

I just rode my RC51 cross country and I knew I was out of Boston when a light would turn green and everyone in on coming traffic wouldn't jump and try to cut you off to take a left.

But getting back to RI, every time I am down there I almost get hit by idiots on their cells, non blinkers or just not paying attention more times than I do the rest of the year in Mass.

Driving through RI to visit a buddy a couple of weekends ago, in fast lane and notice I'm getting close to my exit. Look in rearview mirror to see several bikes flying up behind me, so I wait 'til they pass. One guy pops a wheelie right beside me, going around 80 and holds it for about half a mile. It was cool for one second. Not so much when he was drifting close to my car and then made me miss my exit.

I also don't get the legally able to drive in the breakdown lane on 93... I can see an accident waiting to happen for people needing to take the exit.

Prob Basketball shorts, a wife beater, and sandals. With an Arai full face helmet. Typical street bike morons that cause me to get pulled over on my SV.

It work to alleviate traffic and most people are aware so there are no accidents. I am surprised there hasnt been some nasty ones if a car breaks down or outside of the breakdown use area.

Yup, he was. Sneakers, shorts and a t-shirt. He did have the helmet on though. Standing on the back of the seat, waving to his buddies and having a great time.

I almost beeped my horn when I realized I was going to miss my exit but I didn't want to startle him off the bike.

So MA and RI drivers have their problems, it's the NJ drivers that make me wonder if they even have traffic laws in their state.
