I would like to try and make a rack like this that would not interfer with by Access Bed cover. Any info and/or experiences would be great

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
Thats pretty cool billy. You should check out colinb17's rack, i think he built it and a roof rack, he even built racks for a few other members. I would like a custom rack someday, i would like something low profile like that, and be able to add some kind of attachment that would be easily removable with crossbars for when i carry lumber and stuff that hangs over the cab.

Thanks man! It looks like shit up close. I'm gonna be buying another grille and using WAY different mesh. This was a learning experience! I'd rather do fiberglass and bondo than have to perfect the art of metal forming. I'm much better at body work.

So I'll be making the deep dish satoshi next

It doesn't look to bad, especially if that's your first attempt. The mesh look a little rough at the top, but not horrible.

Thanks. And yeah, it's just the top that I kinda "eh fuck it"'d. I just went crazy with my hammer and bent down the edges. I'll fix it or replace it. I just wanna start from scratch with a different method lol

    Thanks!

And which rack? The deer antlers on the garage? The brown is the garage, green shed in front of the van. The house isn't in the pictures haha. It's to the right of the garage

    Quietly finishing our weekend off..:)

Soccer equipment out of the Lexus turned into an all day affair of detailing both car & truck interiors with "house" repairs stuck in between for "something to do" ( honey-doooooo's) :D......Somehow my bride thought once last "PULL" would make the hose move.....poor hose holder never stood a chance .....Since we have written it up twice already for being loose I figured my "fees" could replace the Sam Adams instead....PM guys will show up Monday  the Sam Adams (12) box top duct taped above "said broken item" ;)....longer screws with washers and 20 minutes later ....

My only off-roading was early AM with a trip out to the 30 yarder and my "Mack office".....Going to be another quiet week as AT&T has still not installed our new "Phones/2-ways" into our "Offices"
