$95 per shock, springs are $93 each. So theres $400, shipping both ways probably close to $100, i paid $550 shipped for them. Brand new i think they are around $1200. So im saving a little money on them at least. I was thinking about custom valving mainly because it would convenient to do it now. Or i can send then to icon and add the CDC for about $800 for the pair

You should of just installed them and see if you liked they way they rode. Then change them . How many miles were on them ? I wouldn't waste your money on that CDC . I talked with icon about the valving before ill try and find the email .

You will want to charge them to 240-250psi. The increased spring rate is ideal when adding 250+ lbs over stock. If that is the case no valving change should be necessary. If you are not adding enough weight you would need to make a change and changing the spring rate might not be necessary.

Oh and my question to them was .

Is there a special valve to fill them with nitrogen ? What pressure do they get filled to ? Also I will be replacing the spring with a 700lb 14" coil to compensate for a winch and plate bumper weight . Do you recommend changing the valving or keep them same ?

The only reason i haven't done that is because i dont want to have to get an alignment. In theory if i put them on for a few days, then go back to the OME my ride height should be the same so alignment should be good as long as i mark out my camber setting on the UCAs and dont touch the LCA cams, but my guess is i would need an alignment if i pull out the coilovers. The icons have 35,000 miles, i have read they typically need a rebuild between 40-50,000 miles. They arnt leaking or anything, so they don't need it now, but it would suck to put them on then need to rebuild them in 6 months to a year.

Ya I hear you . Mine have around 40k ish . I'm just going to run them until I sell them and let the next guy rebuild them . The rebuild kit is only $35 and the fill port needle is like $25 or something . So if they start leaking or whatever ill go that route . Cheaper and I don't have to wait for someone else to do the work . I could do both in a day . DD truck so no down time is good .

I need one that has enough room all around my truck so I can work on it in there. And one with more than one bay because right now my 92 is taking up the garage

    Tightening all your shit down?
I put the spacers on the 886's last Sunday(got the inch i lost back),grounded the cb antenna and rewired the rear bumper license plate lights.
This coming Sunday, install extended brake lines and bleed them, waterproof winch electronics,i was hoping to install the gas tank skid(they still haven't shipped the straps out),tighten all my shit down and a few other things.
I can't wait to get on the trails next week!:D
