Toyota still has my truck and I almost shit my pants on the cost of an OEM half shaft marked up. Neither were OEM so it's getting both. At this rate and the cost in the end I could have gotten kit C from trail gear.

Ya, i'm willing to bet if he called Eibach directly they could get him what he wants. Though i'm not sure why so many people like them. All the race springs (for cars) they make, at least the ones i've seen on cars i've ridden in, were garbage. Way too soft initially, then super stiff with coil bind on any moderate suspension cycling.

I just had to walk across the city. I hate people that bring in their patio set umbrella and then walk with it at eye level. FUCK ALL YOU DICKS

    Question:

My cordless drills were stolen from my garage not too long ago (brand new set of Makita) - closing on my new house on Tuesday. Lots of work to be done and need to get some replacement equipment sooner rather than later. Anyone have input on a good cordless drill? Looking to buy a skill saw as well.

Sounds like fun. For the amount of work they are doing they could at least cut you a break on the price of parts.

My craftsman has lasted me about seven years so far and is still going strong. No complaints. I've also got a cordless craftsman impact that has seen a ton of use, way more than my drill, and it's still going strong as well after about five years.

Still seems like they could throw you a bone. But then again, they are in the business of making money, and the money making is good for them when they have to do non routine maintenance work.

When will they be done with it?

Damn, that sucks about your tools being stolen!

I know I'll probably get flamed for this but I've had great luck with Ryobi stuff. I did all the work on my house with 3 cordless Ryobi drills (they're all still working, we used 3 because we kept different bits in each drill). The Lithium batteries work very well in my opinion. Obviously, there are other brands that make better stuff, but for the average home owner, Ryobi works perfectly fine. I'm actually surprised how well mine held up. So far we've completed a roofing project (sheath and shingle), a complete kitchen demo and rebuild, a laundry room demp and rebuild and a nursery build out. 2 of the drills nose dived off the roof in the process and they have not been treated overly well during the renovation (not purposely, they've just gotten beat up and tossed around in the process). I bought the kit that has the cordless drill, 4" saw and a flashlight in it. The saw is nice for tight areas but that's about it. I did build a whole deck with it, but a corded saw is much more appropriate for larger jobs. In short, Ryobi gets my vote, get multiple batteries and just keep swapping them out.

For a skill saw, I have a Porter Cable and my dad has a Skil and I would highly recommend the Skil. It has the laser built in so it's very easy to see the line and keep it straight. The PC is a nice, powerful saw, I just like the Skil better.

If you need other things, check out the Chicago stuff at Harbor Freight. I got a chop saw there for I think around $100. It's only a 10" but it slides, tilts and turns so it's been very useful. I also have one of their corded drills (thing is a beast!) and a cutting tool (the tool where the hed vibrates so you can just plunge cut straight into material, very helpful for cutting boxes into a finished wall).
