They were till i dropped the diff.
This is what I did. There's no way your compressing an eibach 650lb coil more to preload a 5100, John and I broke 2 sets of compressors. May buy him a set of snapon compressors because I feel bad.
Yea don't ride like me, shorts and a T, aka being a squid with the front wheel off the ground 95% of the time. I dont put my girl on mine for two reasons i dont want her on it and 2 my feet are standing on the passenger pegs
Pre-loaded Eibachs is fucking crazy I dont even want to know.
It would suck if the stator was bad
Those things are so gay but are fun to ride. Test rode one in Laconia last month
What brand did you use? I got me some $90 Spicers
    :D:D:D:D:eek:

Squidding is not cool. I mean, today I was gonna ride with just my tshirt, jeans, helmet, and gloves. But I was gonna just ride on my moms quiet side road working on clutch control. When I get onto the back streets and like route 28, I'm gonna wear my jacket. Seeing as I'm only gonna be doing under 5 mph getting the hang of the clutch, I don't think I'll get too much road rash lol.

It's cool when it's hot as balls out. I've been down and know the feeling all too well. When u get the ducati ill be in full mesh all the time in the heat. Cold weather leathers for when it's nippy.

Keep in mind, it's not always road rash you have to worry about. Drop the bike on you and have that smoking hot pipe land on your leg and you'll wish you had jeans on, get your foot caught under the peg when you go down and you'll wish you wore better shoes with ankle support/protection. All your gear, all the time, especially when working on clutch control.

My muffler doesn't get hot, which is odd.... Probably because it never stays running long enough haha

But no, I get it. Gear is made for a reason

My pipes toast me. It's stupid but only going slow. Once I'm moving I can't tell unless I tuck in close and touch them. Whoooops. Love when I wear sneakers and burn my ankle on the crank.

Never gonna ride with shorts. Not worth it.

Luckily my pipes tuck down and away so I'm not close to touching them

I remember a girl I worked with coming in one day and had a 4 inch burn on her leg that looked like it was painful as all hell. Her boyfriend had a bike and she just touched the pipe for a second getting off of the back..OW!

I've done that before too. That shit hurts bad man. I've also melted a pair of boots onto my uncles brand new pipes. Lol.

I think the skin on the back of my ankle is finally back to its normal color after burning my leg on an exhaust about 10 yrs ago. One of the worst burns ive had, that and burning my arm on a smoking hot cat changing my oil
