Same here ill be graduating with a 3.6GPA in business finance. I could apply and try to get in as an officer. From what I've been told if I join as enlisted ill be treated like shit, ad I agree smarter than my superiors. But it's always been in my head. Only live once. Single, no kids what do I have to loose. Wrenching on wheeled vehicles?

Good luck. I tried, twice actually. Granted for a specific job, civil engineering corps in the navy, only about 1200 spots total, generally only a handful open up per year though. Spots only opened up if someone doesn't re-up our retires. I had like 98th percentile scores, strong resume and recommendations, was running 5k daily with low 20 minute times. But they wouldn't take because of childhood asthma.

No offense, but the stuff most members here take do not require load E tires. Sorry, but I refuse to believe there is ever ANY reason to have load E tires on a Tacoma, it's just plain silly if you ask me :)

Yeah, we actually paved roads down here :brianr:

Load E means no blown sidewalls in the woods for me . Hwy tires I wouldn't even bring in the woods .
Guess it comes down to what you use your truck for .

I'm not saying highway tires will work in the woods, but I'd bet Duratracs in load C (or even a P rated A/T tire) would work for the majority of stuff that most members will actually drive.

No offense, but until you've actually taken your your truck over and through rocks, stumps etc. your statement carries no weight.

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
I blew out two of my nittos (p rated) on granite curbing. While the situation was a bit extreme, it left me wishing for one or two more plies on the sidewall. We'll see how they hold up.
