So... how drunk were you last night?

 

Sadly, not at all.

The refrigerator part is fine, but the freezer smells like something was overheating.

 

Today might be the first day in my carpentry career that I'm doing "paper work" all day. Look at all those god damn plans. All for one job. Making cut lists for the last 5 builts ins out of 28 that we are building, also getting a material list for door stock, next week we have to mill about 1000 LF of door stock and we have already used about 350 LF for the doors that are already made. This job is crazy overwhelming.

And by "condensation", you mean "vaporization" right?

I've been on 2nd shift for about 5 years now. I miss 1st. Everything is seniority based at my place, and a lot of fossils work 1st.

 

Thank you for saving me from having to correct that.

 

I am not known for being nice to idiots..I barked at some older guy the other day who took my seat at the blues fest and tried to throw my soda and shirt away.

Same with my place . I did overnights for 3 years then 3rd shift for 2 then 2nd for 2 years . I'm losing about $300 in differential pay going to days but I don't even care at this point .

 

Differential isn't that much for me, I get an extra $12 a week for 2nd. I could go back to first if I take a lesser paying position. There's no way I'd get my current position on 1st without another 20 years seniority minimum.

 

I didn't sleep last night

4 days off and my "hit list" is going well, School clothes shopping with the Grandkids and a STOP at KTP to "price shop" before their Labor Day sale......

Going to quietly enjoy our weekend with a few Class 6 "adventures" penciled in....
