    Honestly, I popped the bumper out, reset the fog light, wiped the hair off and you would never know it happened. Not even a scratch.... So insurance is out, I'll prob just keep my eyes peeled for a new trd skid or something better...

    1st hen skids are strong. At least the front one. And gas tank. Most 1st gens run stock skids

    Only saw one guy do it and he had to custom make a mount since it would have stepped the carrier down too far otherwise. I'm just going to buy an OEM replacement through Rock Auto. The first one made it over 90k miles, if the second lasts anywhere near that long, it won't be my problem the next time it needs replacing.
