PIAA warranties their lights for life barring an accident, that was what initially brought me to buy them. After dealing with their customer service on a very small issue and seeing how obnoxiously arrogant and unhelpful they were, I can't imagine they'd be fun to deal with on a warranty claim.

Next set will be Light Force, I can't justify the cost for LED, I don't think there's enough benefit over halogen or HID.

I forget how long ago you said that was with PIAA..maybe you just got a jackass or something changed, they almost kissed my ass a few months ago. I only called to get the current part# for the relay used now and the guy told me he'd send me a new one, had it in 3 days

Did you see the guy that did the mercury tilt switch for under hood lighting? Its pretty cool. I have been saying i am ganna do LED strips for bed lighting since i bought the truck lol... someday. Maybe before this winter so im not digging for tools in my toolbox in the dark.

 

Was looking at the Led Sticky and saw one $35....light pod and a switch

 

I bought cheap lights at Wally and put led h3 bulbs in them under my tacoma

 

I really want the neon undercarriage lights haha

 

The guy I dealt with is a jackass and there have been a few people who have reported dealings with the same dipshit. It's encouraging that they will stand behind their warranty, I just don't understand why he was such a dink with what I was trying to do (I was actually trying to buy parts).

Can you imagine off roading with that thing? The lights would keep flickering under the hood every time you hit a bump. It'd look like an electrical storm under the hood

I'd do a simple grounding switch, similar to what's used to control your dome light when the doors are open (well, in most cars, the Tacoma is complicated in that regard).

That's funny when you realize that you were going to spend some cash. Wish I remembered the guy's name I talked to there, damn.

David, did some looking and I don't think that's actually the right size for her car. I think she has 215/60R16 but will confirm tonight.
