I haven't spent enough time in Vermont. I grew up doing summers in NH and love the white mountain area but I think my favorite would be Maine

Lol. You have nothing to worry about. I am debating bringing my husky, but he will go nuts being in the truck the majority of the time. He ushually leads the way. He is my spotter when i go on solo trips, for some reason he needs to go right through the middle of every puddle/ mud hole, so i know how deep it is. If he swims i go around. He is pretty smart around vehicles and always stays way out in front, but with this many trucks it probably wouldn't be a good idea.

Funny, Billy! I've already pegged as a stand-up guy. But if you're a sociopath I'd never know until it hit me. LOL.

Smart, physical world dogs can show us mere humans amazing insights. My dog is the same way in terms of being a freakazoid in the back seat of the truck. When we are home or on walks he does this "reverse herding" thing. He anticipates where I will go and makes sure to go ahead of me. Goddamn little shit, lol, he rocks, and I love him tons.

Vermont is an awesome place to visit but I've been partial to Maine. Some of my most fun vacations have been in Maine :)

Sucks to live there though, I've heard the taxes are beyond horrible.

It seems traffic has gotten worse even since I moved here in 2007. The main highways have turned into a shit show lately!

So you don't have the back history from the halcyon days, but you do feel the pain. It's gotten worse in the past year. It drives me insane, since I have no patience for that shit. /sigh

Oh, me and typos. It should have read, "I'd already pegged YOU as a stand-up guy". But then you saw the other comment, eh? Eh? LOL.

3 hours for a wheel bearing.

Totally messed the stock one up. It was rusted in there BAD!

4 pry bars and a 10lb sledge later... Old bearing is out, and the new wheel bearing is in!

There was a lot of crap inside the hub though. That ain't good! I'm guessing the rear seal against the spindle is bad. The splines on the CV were also rusty. Scrubbed, scraped, and wire brushed most of the crap out.

Before pic of the spindle. No after pic

Thank you for the phone support John! Everything should be ok now. And god does this roll amazingly! It glides like a dream

16 yrs there and my favorite view was my rear view as I gave it the finger. Quiet place to grow up but hated the snotty shit

How much does it cost to shorten a rear drive shaft and extend a front one? Been seriously eyeing a Tacobox with 4.7's if I can get it set up for a cable operated shifter

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
That looked like smashed asshole. If you are going to pound that Runner you need to step up your schedule for routine maintenance. For example, if something is good for X miles under normal use, it's now only good for half that.
