I said the same thing to alex. That this bike spent more time on one wheel than two. It also looks like the front tire hit the radiator at some point

Probably when the frame cracked. That would make sense if it came down hard on the front end.

Yea, I didn't know the exact size I would need. They have a lot of 5 packs but I figured the variety pack would have the right one. Saw them today in the trail or section. Needed to get a have a heart type trap for a few raccoons vandalizing my trash.

The two wires welded together would explain the short!

As for the frame, if it's fixable, I'm sure it'll be fine. It rolls fine, just have some minor issues haha

How are the forks? Also, check around the neck at the front of the frame and the triple tree for any other hairline cracks.

I think that's it. Also the radiator was touched by the front tire as Billy pointed out. I think someone tried to do a stoppie and fucked the radiator up.

It's a work in progress to say the least. But I'd rather drop this than drop a 2013!

Forks look good with no leaks and the neck is unmolested with the original VIN plate and original paint. You can tell where the bondo and krylon start lol

I took an old Suzuki GS550E and did a crazy burnout pinned up against the back wall of my dad's garage, ONCE! :D The forks bent/curled in bad. Stupid 18 year old. My first street bike.

Shit, I do that every time my rear tire needs replacing except without the wall. I just line lock that biotch and let 'er rip. I had it up to 4th gear, pegged and line locked last time I needed a new tire. I burned almost 1/4" into the pavement.

I used to do the same thing and walk it around to make a ghost buster sign.

Other than the minor wiring problem, plastic, and 2 cracks, it's solid.

I was under the impression that it was stollen and parked for 2 years. It had OLD gas in it, and the mileage was the same as when the kid bought it

Hopefully that's all you need to fix on it! The cracked frame would make me a little nervous.

    Yeah. It's a project!

I trust Cam with my life. I know he can weld that frame up better than factory. If it's done right it'll last. It's not like I'm doing wheelies and shit. Someone did to this bike what I do to my truck. Now I have to fix it lol

Hey everybody, nice thread you've got going! Figured I'd stop over to say hi and see if anyone knows of a good spot to get my truck lifted. I live 1 hour west of springfield, ma but I'd be willing to travel. I see trucks lifted all the time, but I dont know if I'd trust the generic auto shops we have around here.

Sorry to bust your bubble but there isn't anything solid about that bike .
I wouldn't ride it. Even if you had a professional welder weld the frame .
