Ive driven a couple 911's, I would love to have one as a toy car some day.

Thank's Mike. Trying to get through one more winter on road with the Cherokee then i get my hands on it.

 

One of the old dudes at my shop has some old ass 911's. His daily is a kickass m3 or m5. I forget which specifically.

 

Looks like Cherokee is 5x4.5" and the newer JK's are 5x5". No good. Search continues

Nope. Heading to my parent's place tonight so I can use my dad's garage to fix my truck tomorrow and the extended family is coming over to meet Joseph.

 

Well that sounds fun! I love family get togethers with little kids

 

My little cousins range from 5 to 13 years old so they're fun. And my older cousins, aunts and grandmother are coming over to meet the baby. I have to hustle to get the truck done before everyone comes over! Hopefully my truck will ride smooth again after this weekend.

I have a list of things to do and I'm just going to see how far I can get. First, and most important, is the carrier bearing. I'll swap all the u-joints and grease the slip joint (thinking of using a dry lube) while I have the drive shaft off the truck. Second, I bought a new Curt T-connector for towing. Mine corroded away so my trailer lights no longer work. That'll be an easy swap, 15 minutes tops. Then, I want to swap in my new PIAA headlight bulbs. Next, I need to hook up a relay so I can get my heated mirrors working. Lastly, I need to pull out my lighted 4x4 switch and resolder the resistor so the LEDs get brighter. Oh, and rotate the tires.

If there's time, I'll wash it also. Truck's been neglected lately...

 

Last time I washed my truck was on the way home from Rausch Creek for the NTC meet in august I think.

 

I usually wash my truck every couple of weeks and detail it at least once a year but it hasn't had a bath in months and hasn't been detailed this year yet. I did the inside last month before Joseph was born, the outside needs to be clay barred and waxed.

 

PIAA bulbs..I thought you already had them after the projectors..

 

Yeah, I had them in a box for months

I'm running plain ole Sylvanias for now. Autozone doesn't sell the PIAAs so I had to do something in the interim.
