That doesnt last long. I was in the same boat, together for 8 yrs, married for one. The "if it happens, it happens" turns into scheduled boom boom time pretty quick once they get a little baby crazy. There is even an app for it.

 

Hell yes..never miss that show.

One advantage to my situation..haha..Linda is 13 yrs older than me so none of that nonsense. We can always get another cat instead.

That's how it went down for us. I came home for mid-deployment leave and the wife and I were a little careless after a night of adult beverages, brown-chicken-brown-cow, a month later I'm back in the sandbox on the phone when she says "I'm pregnant".

We changed gears and started prepping for a baby. Reading a ton of books, picking up hand me downs, shopping for baby furniture. It's all good, and parenting has been a unifying experience for us.

Cracked my front diff support arm thingies.

It's the round part that bolts to the cross member near the radiator. Just bent down the lip on the round part on both of em. Because they're cast, they cracked. Seems strong though, I couldn't get em to budge.

Weld, forget about em, or replace?

 

If they support the front diff they sound pretty important to me....

 

I would get that looked at. Those are you diff supports.

 

I'll post pics next time I get under there. I'm not planning on driving in 4WD anytime soon, so I should be ok.

Hey hey hey. My diff supports have been this way since forever. It's not a huge crack. These cracks are from the days when I had no lift and I smashed on EVERYTHING, earning my rig the name "The Trail Groomer"
