Mine still has the stickers on it

 

Mine too. Apparently it's heavy, the stickers tell me anyways.

 

Surprisingly, mine had a sticker on it near the front cab mount that was still in tact. All the frame paint around the sticker was gone but the sticker itself was in tact and stuck on there pretty well. So, for the ultimate frame protection, cover the frame with stickers!

Work for the oil companies and you can get $20 an hour base pay. Cost of living is much less and gas is ridiculously cheap!

They're Mexican, they're not retarded... They can and do train them to precision machine parts. When I was in the south, companies would put together full crews of one nationality from the superintendent all the way down, all positions filled. They absolutely would not mix and match their crews for obvious reasons. What I'm getting at is don't expect to go down south and take a job from a migrant worker just because you're an American. Doesn't work that way in a lot of cases.

Gotta be careful with that down south also, a lot of them weren't Mexican. There are a lot of migrant workers from various South American countries.

Come to Mass Maritime get a degree in deck/engine/or environmental degree. From there its relatively simple to get a management/officer position on a rig or ship. I have a friend who went Environmental/safety and got a sweet gig on a rig as a safety officer. Pay is significantly better than $20

 

There's a Margarita's off Rt 95 just off the 4 & 225 exit (not sure how far away that is from you but it's Bedford area).

 

Or go to Maine Maritime and actually learn something, and then get paid even more!

 

PSHHH... Same job offers. And you don't have to live in Maine, iv been to that hell hole gulag Siberia campus once. Never again If I wanted an hour drive to buy toilet paper I would still live in PA.

There are lots of skilled labor jobs that train and pay significantly more than $20/hr around here. Lots of union skilled labor jobs in the $35+ range.

 

any maritime academy is as tough as you make it. You wear a Uniform, do that military-esc inspections and standards. The classes are like your average university, with the exception that you have much better support groups and classmates.
