He is on the Mass Maritime Sailing Team and Annapolis is where the US Naval Academy is.

 

Git it, i figured it had something to do with MMA. I know Annapolis is down there, just about went there..., didn't know why he was heading down there though. That's pretty sweet.

 

Yeah, not bad, huh? Funny how it's an M16 in the hands of the FBI but an assault rifle in our hands. Now they get it right...

What's a little more unnerving is there was an FBI bullet proof vest stolen in southie earlier in the week and they didn't know if the 2 thefts were related. If they were, someone now has an FBI vest and rifle, probably not the best combo.

 

I was going to say, I'm surprised they didn't call it a machine gun...

 

Technically, they still got it wrong. They're calling it an M16A1 which is incorrect if the pictures they showed on TV were of the actual weapons that were stolen. But still, it's an improvement for the press.

 

Haha, at least they didn't put up a picture of an AK and a .50 Cal Barrett.

Me, but it's a '10..seems it wouldn't hit mine.

 

I think the fault is more with the QC of the material used to make the valve springs. It's a project outsourced to a machine shop that wasn't managed properly, the Toyota way (which we leaned about for 5.25 hours from a consultant at the shop yesterday) which is very refined, simplified, and quality is typically spot on for the finished product. One shop's fault makes the entire vehicle seem like shit and Toyota suffers if it isn't handled the right way right away
