I was young and dumb in '95 too! I was also in diapers, but that's beside the point.

I forget the street name but it was a train track on a hill . They cut the hill down the next year because so many kids were jumping there cars and crashing .

Now that you mention train tracks, I remember it..just forget where. And the girl I heard it from was one who crashed.

In Hingham we had Roller Coaster Road..Lazell St. Couple of good hills there and some windy road..

I probably helped the frame on my Datsun ZX die an early death with that road. Of course as soon as I got my Camaro I had to head down there.

It's all the morons that don't actually see what they're shooting at but hear movement or see branches move and take a shot. Most of these hunting accidents stem from this issue although the shooter will never openly admit it. 'Blaze orange' back in the day used to be a fur hat with a feather in it. You wouldn't get shot because fur and feathers NEVER go together. Now days, you have to dressed head to toe in blaze orange and people are still getting shot. The issue isn't what the victim was wearing, it's that the shooter never properly identified his target before taking his shot. This crap pisses me off, there's no excuse for it. This is even worse in my opinion because he went out on the trip knowing other people would be in the woods with him since it was a group hunt. Not like he was alone on his own property where no one else should be anyways. I hope they lock his ass up.

Well the accident was obviously stupidity. But the level of stupidity on display is compounded if the guy was wearing blaze orange.
Personally, I've never seen a deer that looked like a person. But I've REALLY never seen a deer that wore blaze orange.

Completely Agree. I survey in the middle of the woods sometimes and have come across my fair share of tree stands/hunters. They always get pissed at me but during active hunting season, I try to always talk to my coworker or even myself aloud. I wear high-vis safety vests and a ridiculous neon orange winter hat, but it always is a little disheartening hearing stories like that.

A lot of times I put on Pandora and crank my phone up. I couldn't care less about scaring the deer away.

One good thing about MA is you have to use a shotgun for hunting. Obviously, it can still kill you but they don't have the distance of a rifle, you have to be pretty close.

Are slugs allowed? Some of the newer slug guns can reach out pretty far. I've personally shot slugs out of my 887 Nitro Mag at 100 yards and I could cover the pattern with the palm of my hand (and I've got small hands).
