Finally got the old machine greased up, oil change, good to go! Had to drop off the chainsaw for a tune-up though :(

Just Nyquil at bedtime. Dayquil messes me up really bad.

Gonna have to get at least another year ot two out of these Nittos before I can justify it... But I can't wait to get up to a 33" tire.

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
What is that, like a 34" tire? Do eet! Duratracs are awesome. Expensive though.

According to my product manual, the Duratracs in that size actually have an OD of 33.4"

I was looking at the Grapplers in 295/75r16 which is listed at 33.2". People who have them say they are closer to 33.6" I'd do it if I could keep my fender flares the way they are.

    You can haz rub?

I found a thread for pulling off the fender flares and installing some good looking plugs in the holes. I'll consider it when I get new tires. I've already hacked out most of the plastic inside the fender well anyway when I installed the bumper.

I was thinking that during the drive home Sunday night. Six inches of snow on the roads, and I only had to use 4x4 a couple of times.

Lucky. My carb I'd gummed up despite startron and fogging oil. Got a brand new carb for $40, just haven't installed it yet

I'd run 34" or 35" if I could make flares like HomerTaco.

It's not just the flares, you also need to cut the fenders themselves.

23 degrees outside... Great weather for a bike ride! Taking my bike from my mom's house to the storage unit before snowpocalypse hits!

    Give you a tip?
Bring some of those Hot Hands packets with you. Open a couple up 15 minutes before you leave and stuff them in your jacket when you're ready to go. If you've got space, put one in each boot too, and one in each glove.

Oh, and watch out for sand, too.

For once it's a good thing, plus doesn't fuck up the radiators like GM and their Deathcool

Or makes them more mature..nah, just ages 'em...

Luckily it's only a 3 mile ride, so I'm gonna just use leather ski gloves, sweatshirt under a winter jacket, and boots. Should be ok. Max will be 40mph and I policed the route in my truck just now. Clear with no ice. I won't be leaning into turns that hard though because of sand and salt. I'll be very cautious! Thanks for the tips!

    23 degrees @ 40MPH works out to -15, if I remember right.
    Have fun!

EDIT: Wait, when did you get a truck? I thought you were driving that Jackedwagen...
