But wasn't your GMC a 3/4 ton? My old man's diesel has load E tires, they seem overkill for a F-150. I was surprised it rode as smooth as it did with those tires.

    Evan, I like option 2 :D

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
It would be brighter probably. I am leaning towards my first option, i am a sucker for LEDs and blitzpro is running a awesome deal on the light bar. Decisions, decisions. I found pictures of 240s retrofitted with 50watt HIDs, INSANELY bright.

Don't they make an HID version also?

From a purely functional standpoint, the distance ones are overkill for what you'll use them for unless you plan on running the Baja soon. You shouldn't run both the distance lights and the flood lights at the same time if you're talking optimal performance (the fog lights will make your eyes focus closer to you making the distance lights useless). You really can't go wrong with either setup, both are pretty awesome, I'm just a sucker for those 240's.

Ya they make a HID version but i think only 35 watt, which is supposedly brighter than their 100 watt halogens. The only thing i am not sold on with light force is the fact that there is no spot, pencil, fog whatever pattern. I guess the housings are adjustable on the 170s, so you can focus the light like a mag light, they also sell covers that disperse the light differently. Seems more like a marketing gimmick. I have been reading up on a lot of different brands, i am set on light force because the durability and how light they are, which helps a huge light like that from bouncing and shaking all over the place. There is a ad out there where a guy is literally bouncing a light force light off of the ground like a basketball and it takes no damage. And from a purely functional standpoint the stock headlights are probably enough for what i do  i just like bright lights, and once i have some nice offroad lights and finish my grill i will feel like my front end is done. Then onto the rear bumper, skids, and better suspension.

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Cute as hell. Our dog still "helps" Owen with his meals after two years.

Unrelated note, keep me in mind for the iPod adapter. I've got the base model head unit, and want a better interface for my iPod.

Pretty much how it happened. He continued to finish cleaning him off also. I think Charlie and Joseph will be best buds!

Thanks and will do! The USA Spec unit is awesome. I've had it for almost 6 years now
Believe it or not, it's a 2011. It's got really, really low miles and looks like it's brand new inside and out. Hardly a spec of rust on the underside, no marks on the interior, even the bed liner was pristine.

That looks really clean for an '11. Not sure if this goes out of your range, but for funsies look for a last year '13 maybe?

Idk for that light force price range... you only get a three year warranty. They had many issues about the plastic fading and cracking. Google lightforce defects. I haven't been impressed with the range of the light bars either they just flood like 30 feet.

IMO I would buy KC hid driving lights. 23 year warranty (keep the receipt). Warranty includes bulbs! Mine mount with a half inch grade 8 bolt. I have the two driving lights if I could fit 2 more I think I would add 2 long range ones.

I've been saving up, and the plan was to save for another 4 to 6 months, get my tax return and hopefully end the project I'm on and get onto a new project (ensure job security) then go truck shopping. At that time, I would be looking for any leftovers, low mileage lease returns or the like. I went to look at the 2011 only because it was low mileage and also really marked down.

You'd be surprised, Maine coons in particular are known for being very patient with kids. Mine was the one that several young kids played with as a kitten and he took it in stride. Pumpkin on the other hand couldn't stand my nephew when he was a baby, used to hiss and put her ears back at him.

They're asking $26,8k for it but that number means nothing to me. The trade number is all that matters to me. Against that price, they weren't offering much for my Tacoma initially. I finally got them really, really close to a decent trade number and then he never called me back.

Copeland Toyota started at 4500 for my Colorado. Granted it's technically 7 yrs old then, but 81K and the body was in flawless shape..2 small scratches, no dents or rust, interior was mint/never smoked in. I ended up getting 6500 when I rattled off that it had a new top end, cam, chains. End of the day it got me 60 months at $201 a month.

I was listening to the financing spiel ready to have fun telling him I belong to Telephone Workers Credit Union (who usually kick anyone's ass on a rate), but then he said "and you can get the 1.9% rate". OK!
