Thanks. We had to improvise a cooler.

    That truck looks vaguely familiar...
but like a shell of its former self...

Awesome! They said they were going to auction it off, I guess they changed their mind.

Looking at the sticker price, I think I did alright with the trade. They didn't do a very good job selling it though... Don't even mention heated mirrors, back up sensors, still listed as steel wheels. Jeesh, these people need to spend some time on Tacomaworld and learn all the added stuff that truck has

Thinking of buying this bumper for my truck...
I like my bumper but it does not have a winch, this one is beat and ugly so I think I would be making it straight again, and chopping and adding new tube.

My current needs a winch and im not sure if it will be easier to add one or to buy and fix a beat one.

I would do something very different with the tube on top.

You can't just add a piece of plate steel to your bumper and cut a fair lead hole where your license plate is.

Winch needs to attach directly to the frame. My bumper isn't built for a winch. I would need to add a winch plate

So if you guys didnt know already, changing out spark plugs in the taco is the BIGGEST...PAIN...IN THE DICK...EVER. So anyway i got them all swapped out and she starts up fine. Drivin down the road and i down shift and as soon as the clutch goes in the rpms jump to about 3k. And then drop to normal after the clutch is out. Then when i shifted up, when pressing in the clutch, the rpms would rise instead of fall. Its since leveled out to be normal but i didnt think there was a break in period for spark plugs.

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.

Give the ECU time to adjust. It's a supercomputer and much smarter than we are.

Thats odd, my truck did that, and frankly still does on occasion, ever since I bought it new.

Having read this I am glad I am not crazy

Yeah apparently. It seems to have leveled out now for the most part.

    Going for a 2nd set of wheels/tires?
The Tacoma ECU is a temperamental bitch! I never understood why it would 'reset' and run rough after doing something seemingly minor but it always did get back to running right within a short distance.

    morning all

With all new cars this is expected but most cars re-learn quickly, but Toyota is terrible my truck and other i thought were going to shut off they were re-adapting and re-learning new parameters. It's insanity, and for the record the starter on a 2.7 is moronic I want to meet that engineer and punch him in the face.

Ahh I see . Sounds like it would be easier to buy the other one and fix it up.

Doesnt trail gear make a winch plate for your truck? You could trim your bumper to use the winch plate.

Looking for spares with steel wheel good tread. If you are a 1st gen I will trade you an alloy wheel in black with a brand new Firestone Destination AT or BFG AT.

I went to the Hottest Chicks In Hard Rock tour last night. Awesome show! Christina of Lacuna Coil is still beautiful every time I see her! Sick Puppies and Eyes Set To Kill put on an awesome show too!

Good to know. I'll be changing mine when the weather starts warming up.

I have one. I would need to remove the TPMS from it. But to my knowledge I would guess the tire has less then 40miles usage it still has the nubs on it. From the toyota service history. It says my truck had a blowout at 35k mark. I didn't own it at that time so I don't know how much the spare was used. But it was serviced locally. 265/65/17
