I know Autozone sells them. Maybe O'Reilly's?

Your local Toyota Dealer should have them in stock. There is a seat heater recall going on now which requires the rings.

Really now...I will have to stop in there this weekend.

I never thought to go the dealer route either...if Toyota has them, Subaru should too...that'll have to be my backup stop after I go to Auto Zone.

    Thanks!

Any upholstery place should have them. Car specialty shops might also (think any shop that would install leather seat covers, seat heaters, etc). Toyota will probably charge you $1/ea for them

Yeah, the local Autozone almost always has a couple of bags in there. Covered in dust, of course, because not many people shop for them.
Here's the part (according to the website) for when the guy at the counter has no idea what a hog ring is: 74365

I asked at Home Depot and I got an agitated "what is that, who cares" look. It was fantastic.

Hey guys- still thinking about last sundays snow wheeling trip. FUN FUN[IMG] But..... I got a good sized ding on my Pro Comp rim right at the bead. Pushed it in about a quarter of an inch. The one on top is just a scuff but the bottom one is dented in. Isn't there bead protectors i can get to protect the rim?? Not sure but it looked like Jason has them on his rims, or they are just chrome on the outer edge of the rim from factory. Any thoughts??DSC07594.jpg

Also- just passed inspection today, guy said don't bother taking off wheel spacers cause he new i would put them back on tomorrow. LOL... So my FJ buddy gave me a stainless Borla exaust. Can see through it. You think it will sound good? Don't want that cheesy 6 cyl trying to sound like an 8 cyl sound. Any thoughts??

    Just fart more :notsure:
Pretty sure Jason has beadlock look wheels (fake beadlocks). That outter ring is just decorative to mimic the look of true beadlock wheels which are not approved by DOT for on road use.

I have fake beadlocks. You need more tire, less rim.

I don't need to know that you want rings for your hog..haha

Try the ACE Hardware in the Carriage Crossing plaza near us, or the Ace in Hanson. Hanson is a little bigger, but they seem to have a lot of oddball stuff when needed.

I have 285/70-17 - Don't want tires with any taller sidewalls because i dont want the tireroll going around corners fast. Guess i'll be more careful when snow wheeling. Cant see the rocks too well. Thanks for the replies. Also i have access to LARGE tanks of compresses air. 2000 psi. Just gotta check into getting another regulator and hose from the company that supplied us through FEMA for our HAZ-MAT set-up. Also have Medical Air, Nitrogen, Oxygen, CO2, and........ Nitrous Oxide:kona::goingcrazy::broccoli::taco::rofl::crazy:

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Borla makes one of the best aftermarket exhaust systems period. I have the TRD system and I love the sound. Not a V8 want to be but deep for a six cylinder. Quiet but gets louder when you get on it.
I know people that have a Borla system on another type of car and it sounds great. Nice and quiet when tooling around and nice aggressive sound when stepping on it.

I keep forgetting there's an Acr there. Usually the small places are better when it comes to things like that.

Ended up ordering rings tonight at Auto Zone. Should be a fun weekend project at some point. The foam in the seat basically went flat so it will be interesting sitting in seats that have actual support, at least for the short term before they collapse again.

Ok all you guys that where singing the praises of the safety razor. Is it a better shave? Is it the razor that makes a difference or the soap and brush? I hate shaving, always have, and the 3, 4, 5, 75 blade razors just rip me up when I shave everyday.
