I think I am going to go visit a friend in Voluntown and peruse the Pachaug state forest today.

I am pretty much in the same boat. I am hoping that it goes up some with the winter fuel going away.

Damn I get better than that. Bring your speed down to 65 and I bet you get 35-40 more miles per tank.

 I just have mad skills.

That damn rock was the perfect size to fit into the gap between my slider and my door, and then the angle changed and I picked up the rock lol. Good times! At least the lower portion of my door is plastic unlike your metal door panels. That woulda sucked

There is another Tacoma driving around that looks almost like mine now. :(
He doesn't have a skewp or the darkened head/tail lights though.

I've had my rears at 28 just to make contact edge to edge. The front I can run about 36. Hopefully MPGs get better on summer gas.

I've noticed the summer gas is here! My truck can get 21 cruising at 70 on the highway again! Not 13-14!

Anyone (ROB) have a spare set of wheels and tires I could borrow for a little while so I can get my tires dismounted and do something about my god-awful wheel corrosion?

Relentless has been making DIY kits for a while. Similarly priced to the kit you linked to also. Not sure if any of the other fabricators are making kits like that yet though...
I'm guessing tread pattern is playing a role? :notsure:
Damn... That's pretty terrible. The Tacoma always did do pretty bad on the highway but even when I had 265/70R17 I could still pull 17 MPG at that speed.
There's absolutely no way in hell winter blend to summer gas is getting you 7 MPG better... You have to either be miscalculating or exaggerating (or both).

No it's about accurate. I think it had to do with tire pressure as well

I'm sure that's part of it. I can definitely feel it more taking off on a hill compared to the old wheels.

That's what I have right now. I sold the 6 spoke wheels with my 33's. I only have Erik's beat up TRD Sport wheels

Anyone (John) have a spare wheel bearing i can borrow for a while so i can dismount and do something about my god-awful current wheel bearing?

Sorry Alex- Had to. Hey i have a set of tires and TRD sport rims BFG AT 265/70-17 with a little tread left(barely legal) if you want to drive down to exit 1 on 95 in R.I.(Westerly) and borrow them if a certain someone else (ROB) doesn't pull through for you. That is of course unless you want to take your talented driving skills and try to drive on the sides of the rims. ??? Then nevermind LOL

    I might be interested.

What are you looking for for the set? Will trade gauges for wheels. Lol. That's what I did with Erik.

I'm just sick of the corrosion
