I think the appeal of the 454's was torque, though, right? Most of the injected ones had something like 400lb/ft, and the old carb'd units better than 450lb/ft if I remember correctly...

The GM diesels at the time made around the same #'s as the 454, but cost a lot more. Better mileage, though.

I agree with you about the Green Mountain, though. Their Dark Roast is awesome. I never buy it though, because the GF doesn't like it.

That body style was 89-99 i think, looking at the dashboard and how it looks kinda curved im guessing its 95 or newer (89-94 had the older more angular dashboards), grey grills and single headlights were the base w/t trim. I wonder if its a 305 or 350?

As long as the timing chain has been replaced at 140K. I ended up selling mine because of that. No garage and it was December when it needed to be done. Most shops wanted a blank check to do the service.

A press will by far give you the best coffee in my opinion. My next favorite is a percolator but that might be because I equate that to camping. We always make our coffee in one of those over a fire in the morning.

 

yes yes yes. I love the smell of the coffee and the sound of the percolator, so many childhood memories

 

We have a percolator at home, love it. Coffee is so much better than a drip type IMO
