My front left wheel bearing just let go. Quiet one second, then grinding and vibrations. Limped it to my driveway to affirm that's what it was... and it was, wheel's looser than a Persian prostitute. 60,000mi isn't too bad considering. Just sucks it happened the last week of classes...

Or we can use this one; it's a little more recent.

That's really surprising it didn't give you any warning. Are you running really loud tires that might have masked it?

Would have really sucked if it had let go on you up in Bangor...

    this is true!

    Hahha! I love buster Keaton!

I'll be in contact with you. Thanks for the offer billy!

I might have to take you up in that. Pm inbound with my number

My mts are fairly noisy, but you could hear it grinding away over their hum. It's probably been bad for some time, but I hadn't noticed, and it finally let go. It definitely would have been fun had it happened up in Bangor!

Nope. It was kind of misting early this AM when I got up, but it had stopped by 5:30 or so, and it's supposed to be sunny and in the 50's by this afternoon. I rode the 'Zuki in today, so it had better get sunny!

    Crappy weather in Freeport today?

Yup. Unless you're someone who loves Newport, there's nothing great about RI. It's the Ocean State (at low tide).

I dunno. South County is kinda nice, too.

Most of the rest of the state does not provide even that much of a distraction to take your mind off the wad of green you keep tossing onto the state's tax bonfire.

I rode through it on a motorcycle about 11 years ago; it seemed like a nice enough coastline, but I was only in the state for a few hours on a nice sunny summer day. :notsure:
