Is that so you can pick up more groceries on your way home from soccer practice?

That inboard 2x12 looks like it's cupped.

Oh wait, you mean that's not a desirable trait for lumber?

Shrug. Depends. When I was working construction we did a job for a guy with a geodesic dome house. He would probably have been all about cupped lumber...
But he'd never spend the $ for a 2x12. The structural beams on his house were doubled up 1x6 pine boards. Yikes.

I'm not digging through a bunch of 2x12x16's to find a better one after shoveling and spreading a truck load of loam today

Too old to drink that way or can't lift 2 bottles at the same time?

To smart. You learn things with age and maturity. Two beers or drinks at one time is not a wise thing to do.
    I rest my case

    Happy Monday, Faces!
Nice sunny warm day, with the motorcycle parked outside...and I'm stuck in a windowless warehouse.
    Fuck.
Definitely taking a lunch break today.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
That sucks to be you. Even though I am working I can tell you it's gorgeous outside. Bright sunny and not windy at all.

And before you even say it John. FU :brianr:

it does suck to be me. Days like this makes me REALLY miss working for a building contractor. Usually on days this nice by 2 or 3 PM he'd say "Fuck this shit, it's too nice out today to keep working. Time to pack it up, boys!"
It was totally worth the couple of hours of lost pay, too.
