Dunno about Stripers. I do know that the White Perch were later than usual showing up this spring, though. Most of May all that I caught was Pickerel and brook trout (not that I mind; I love pan-fried brook trout). Now the Perch have finally showed up and we've gotten a couple of meals out of them.

hmmm. From what i've read online the bite has been slow, likely due to the cold weather extending into May. I don't mind a few bluefish for making chowder/ fish cakes. But ya, it does suck when they do nothing but wreck all your gear. Doesn't really matter, i'm giong and will have a good time stripers or no, just be nice to have a nice striper filet, or even better a nice piece of cheek.:drool:

Ya timing chain guide broke. Parts should be here Thursday so I figured I'd get the stupid work out of the way now. A lot of the AC components were removed so I just took the rest out today.

Superwinch Talon 9.5 SR worked great on the tacoma . Haven't used it on the runner yet.

Thanks. You removing the head, or just the timing cover using the 4crawler method?

I do recall it being used in Winchendon....

Got an Amazon gift card, contemplating putting it towards a winch since both warn and superwinch have models with prime free shipping.

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
I got my superwinch lp8500 on Amazon for $250 shipped, not nearly as nice as johns but it does the job. They had a deal because of damaged packaging or something.

Hell no, get what you can while you still can! Once the poop monster arrives, your mod budget will drop to the red.
