I got a really good package deal for the tonno and the steps over on tundratalk. I might be hitting you up this week for an alternator for the crawler. I am going to rip the alternator and battery out some night this week and get them tested at autozone. If I need an alternator, I am going with the CS144 out of a 1995 Cadillac Deville with the heated windshield

 

John, don't forget to adjust the valve lash once you've got it all back together.

 

Cool I have one in stock for $35 + the core. And I don't know what you paid for that tonneau but I would have been $230 and available the next day.

 

That is a sweet deal on the alternator. Does the core have to be the same one I buy or will any alternator do?

 

It's not to bad. It's messy but a good learning experience for me. These little 22re are easy to work on.

Thank Seth . I just got the chain/guides on,now just bolting everything back on. I'll check the gaps at the end . That write up worked great. (4crawler)

A bunch of you faces are married, and probably a fair percentage have been groomsmen before. Anybody got any suggestions for this guy?

Just gave my $0.02 although I had a pretty a-typical wedding party so I didn't have much to offer.

No, not really, we had a mixed wedding party. 2 of my closest friends are girls and Kendra had her 2 brothers. So my friends stood on my side with me and her brothers stood on her side with her. It was still even so it didn't look wierd but I bought gifts for my best man, a groomsman and 2 girls.

 

Mine was just myself and Linda, so no wedding party to speak of..

 

Oh but there was a party later on

 

Morning. I did engraved Gerber multitools. Seemed to go over well. Nice practical gift. I got the flask from my best-mans wedding, and while it gets used a few times a year it's not all that useful.

 

I hear you there. Flasks are neat and all but I have a stash of them that very rarely get used. They just collect dust. One of the more useful gifts I got for being a groomsman was a nice Swiss duffel bag.

We were going to have a party that summer but never happened as her mom's health (which wasn't good to begin with) went downhill fast

 

I have a hand full of them in a box in the basement . I used them the day of the wedding but never again.
