Crunched the gas tank skid, that's no concern. My concern is the scrapes along the driveshaft

Just scratched steel. Make sure you didn't lose any of the weights on the drive shaft so you don't have a balancing issue (and make sure you didn't bend the shaft but I'd think you'd have figured that out pretty quickly). From the looks of all the rust, this isn't the first time you've done this and I'm sure won't be the last.

Derp. Looks like you got lucky; you just shaved a corner on the driveshaft weight rather than ripping the whole thing off, and it doesn't look bent.

Like what Noel said, the weight is there and just kinda shaved off a corner. It drives pretty smoothly.

And it's rusty because it's a Toyota lol. I wanted a different driveshaft anyway... Hmmm lol

Yeah it looks straight but I can kinda feel depressions where the scrapes are, which makes me concerned about a potential failure with any sort of extreme stress or torque

I can imagine, especially with 357! I think that thing should take .38 special also and it would be more manageable. Looks fun though, definitely a nice win on your part

X2. I run .38spl most of the time when I'm shooting my GP100. Cheaper than .357, quieter, easier on my hands, easier on the gun.

I read the manual last night and it said to only run 357s through it but I have heard a few people say 38 will work . Ya you can't beat winning . There are 20 guns left in the raffle and I have 3 tickets in so hopefully I win another lol
