^^^ AJ I dont have any of those but I was wondering why you wanted them? Dont you have 5100's set at only 1.75"? You can move them up to 2.5" if you want more lift and not need the spacers. On a totally different subject how do you make a link with a title that describes it???

#1: im buyings johns old Eibach coilovers which are 1.6", I will set my Adj. Billys at .85. Gives me about 2.4-2.6 of lift, + top plate spacers of .75 im about (average) 3.15-3.35. Im almost perfectly level with 1.75" of front lift and stock rear. the 2" add a leafs will bring my rear up enough. :D

#2: If you type something out, highlight it, click the "world" looking thing on top of chat box, (copy whatever page you want to link to the words) paste it after clicking the "world", it will light up and underline). :D

Yeah most of the 265/75/16 are load e. My grabbers are load e and 57lbs. My new durtracs coming tmw are load c and 45lbs. Thats 12lbs less on each tire and I should deff save some mpgs. Maybe 1 or 2 at least.

I don't know if you noticed but those springs with the billys set at .85" lifted Johns truck up pretty good. If you look around this site almost everybody will tell you if you lift your truck over 3" it will seriously wear the front end componets much faster. I wouldn't do it to my truck.

Don't buy used ubolts . They stretch and the threads get sloppy .

AJ, are you getting new UCA's also? If it turns out you need them, I have a CB drop kit that I never installed (never needed).

I agree with him. I have less than 2 inchs of lift and im chewing through my second boot and i have groved out my third CV. Although a large portion of the CV boot wear can definatly be attributed to miles and miles of hard wheeling with mud and grit in between the fins.

Edit while its apart anyways you could slide the cv boots to space the fins out a slight bit if you want the extra inch or so.

Yeah I'd love to take those off your hands!!!
Also wasnt planning on used ubolts was hoping someone had an extra laying around I could buy.

Dont think I will need new UCA's cause I'll have the same size tires + wheel spacers, so I should be alright.

Thanks for the advice! Instead of the .75" top plate i'll do the .25", should put me just below 3. Should look nice. I just want to make sure its level :D

I would caution on doing this too. When your wheels are at full lock your CV's are streched out pretty damn far then add to that a lift and posibly more travel (if he changes his UCA's). Move out the boots just a little too far and you could rip one very easy. This looks good while driving straight on the road but could be a disaster if your ripped a boot.

AJ, spacers for the front work double. A 1/4" spacer lifts 1/2". In the rear the blocks give you want ever size they are, 1" = 1". Just in case you didn't know.

Did not know that. Thats for the top plate spacers as well? If I got 2 top plate spacers for both sides it should put me right below 3.00", 2.95 if my calcs are correct. Im worried most about being as level from front to back as possible :D

Look into getting longer studs for the top mount . If your going to add spacers .

The new UCA's aren't really related to tire/wheel size. When you lift the Tacoma around 2.5" or higher, there's no longer enough adjustment to get your alignment correct. Usually, a good shop will give you a negative camber in order to gain some some more caster adjustment. That's why you see some lifted Tacomas with their front tires looking like this \ /. Even if you do that (sacrifice camber for caster), you'll be at the outter limit of the spec for both adjustments which can cause uneven tire wear and make the truck feel like it's wandering at highway speed. The other option is put the camber where it should be and have a very, very low caster. You'll have even tire wear but the truck might feel very unglued traveling down the highway. All that being said, people do drive with 2.5+" of lift with stock control arms and most, when they finally do upgrade, post up saying how it's a night and day difference in handling.
