Setup a appointment to have my frame checked this week . Hoping they replace the frame. And everything that goes with it.

"The body attaches to the frame; I'd like to have that replaced as well.

Oh, and the drivetrain too, please"

But seriously, good luck w/getting the frame swap.

Lol I'd be a happy camper if they just bought it back.
It runs great but everything else is falling apart .

I was pretty excited when they told me they were buying my '99 back.
Everything on it worked perfectly, but it had 189k on it. When the service manager told me that he thought they'd replace the frame I was like
And then when Toyota told me the amount they were buying my truck back for, I was like  :bananadance:

    :pout: I know.

I got a free Lexus GX 470 driveshaft, but it's just a tad too short

Solution? Found a place in my town up in NH that's machining me a 3/4" spacer with a flange and everything for $60. I love locals up here! This piece woulda cost me $150+ down in mass

He abused it so he was given a shorter shaft so he could think about what he did.

Can you see any holes/weak areas? Would be a good deal if they did replace the frame and associated crap. If you did sell you might be able to get a little more for a half new truck

Possibly dropping out of Ulowell already. I might be more interested in commercial diving. Pays way more and I LOVE diving

Sounds like a very short sighted decision. Commercial driving might pay more now but you'd hit the ceiling pretty quickly. A college education or trade school education will give you a career, more stable employment and additional benefits such as paid time off, insurance, 401K, etc. There's absolutely nothing wrong with being a commercial driver, lots of people do it and make a good living doing so but I feel you'd have more opportunities if you stick with UMass.

Pretty sure he actually means diving; he wrote it twice.

I wonder if he's contemplated the side effects of being a commercial diver in New England in January. Talk about a short shaft...
