x2, don't understand the decision for drums on the rear. They're just a pain in the rear.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Thanks guys. She is wonderful. She definitely seems to like it at home much better than in the hospital. Now I just need to get one of these to fit everybody in it.

Question for you home owners or anyone with more experience then me .

So my bathroom has wallpaper and the previous owner painted over it . It was bubbling out and looked like shit . So I started ripping the paper off .

Would you guys go threw the hassle of stripping the wallpaper and mudding the walls or just tear down all the drywalls and start with new drywall ?

Steam the wallpaper. It should peel right off. Most of the wallpaper 'glues' are just cornstarch, so if you take a steamer to them they loosen up pretty easy.

Personal preference and depends on a lot of things. My walls were wall papered and I have some bubbles also. I also have plaster walls so if I pull off the drywall, the plaster will crumble so I'd have to strip everything.

If you're they're exterior walls and you think the insulation isn't the best, that would be a good time to strip everything and re-insulate / add outlets / fix plumbing, etc. If all you want to do is strip wall paper and repaint, then I'd get some wall paper stripper stuff, get the paper off, patch where you need to, then paint over it, just make sure all the drywall paper doesn't come off with the wall paper. If all the drywall paper peels with the wall paper, just trash it all in my opinion. If not, it's easier to just skim coat the old drywall than completely strip everything.

Johnny, it depends as mike said. You need to consider if other work needs to be or should be done. Whether this is just a quick fix (lipstick on a pig). Noel is spot on if you are just stripping it. I would peel as much as I could or buy one of the perforaters so the steam or solution can get to glue.

Take a good look at the wall underneath. If you will have to mud it again, maybe just less hassle to rip the wall down. That is what I did on my spare room; however, I already knew there was no insulation in those walls so that was a big factor.

    Congratulations Rob!

When I moved into our house every room had wallpaper over plaster - except for the two that had paneling. I found the wall paper remover solution to work the best for me. Being yours is painted over, I'd guess it'll be a PIA but I'd still try to perforate the paper and use solution. I'm guessing you have drywall - it'll gouge pretty easily. To fix the gouges, I've used the drywall compund that you mix with water. It sets up and dries a lot faster versus the stuff in the pail. You can easily get a few coats on in a day ready for paint.

if it was my bathroom I would rip it all down and start from scratch with the appropriate material, plus it never hurts to a good view of whats going on behind the walls, especially in a room that is constantly in a moist environment.

We bought an 1880's house that when it came time to do the bathroom me and my wife both agreeded to rip it all down to the studs..we found mold, shotty DIY electrical work and an original plumbing to the house that was about as secure as an ankle bracelet on a big girl

Come to think of it, if the house is old it probably would be wise to rip it down anyways. The reasons VJHerrera listed, plus you can use a good greenboard and be confident you won't have water issues.

    And CARDIO!
You can lift some too, since lean body mass burns more energy, but if you're looking to lose weight then cardio's going to be your friend.
