Removing RTT By Myself

 

The Hyundai Excel was the car I was talking about yesterday. I don't think any of them made it past 50k.

 

I have two rusty razor scooters and two rusty pogo sticks. If you want them they are yours. My daughter was just using them as we cleaned out the shed. If no one wants them I will trash them

 

No grubs, I had a bad season a couple of years ago and added loam but the loam was mostly sand and now all I get is weeds. I will rip out the dead and grade out the shit and add some really good stuff and seed again

Speaking of snow...
Drove up to the parent's today with a load of knotty twisty sh*t that would have been impossible to split by hand and worked it up on their splitter. Stalled it three times on knots (25 ton splitter! ) and idled it WAY back a lot of times. Glad I wasn't doing it by hand: took me an hour on the splitter and would have taken all day to do 'chainsaw splitting' for this stuff.



And it was a good reminder that next summer I really want to put in either a set of overloads or a full pair of full custom packs from a semi-local business.
She didn't squat TOO bad (probably 2 inches between the springs and the bump stops), but the full-length leaf looked absolutely terrible while it was loaded. Full reverse curve with a noticeable kink where the second leaf presses against it.

 

Cleaned up and installed. Didn't need the nut that came with it. Thanks Colby.
