You'll have to see just how lucky you really are! I'll probably pick up a ticket myself. Once it gets up around $200MM, I have to at least try.

I usually try to buy a ticket when it's a low jackpot under the flawed assumption I'll have better odds

You guys need a license for shotguns too?

Damn I'm glad I live in Maine...

Same here. Once it hits $200 mil I usually say "meh, what the hell" and buy a ticket.

Stupid me should do it the other way; my odds would be a little better! One in 300 million instead of one in a billion

We sure do. Need an fid for pepper spray too. The fid is only good for low capacity shotguns/rifles. Anything else and you need a class b or class a

You need a license or FID just to buy ammo down here. I think even some types of mace you need an FID card for as well.

Tons of idiots. Very strong idiots.

    Probably college kids from Merrimack.

Of course I do. I have an FID and it's registered in my town.

What did I do that was reckless? I've been the only one home for 2 weeks now, and I'm surrounded by state forest on two sides. Lots of escape routes and what not.

Oh I know. That's the plan.

There must be some loophole with certain pepper sprays. I've been seeing a lot of stores advertising pepper spray (No FID required) but only for certain types. And I'm not talking about shady joints either, it's clearly displayed and advertised at reputable shops.

If you're sitting with a round already chambered, it doesn't sound like just racking the slide to scare someone off was the plan... You made it sound like the click of the safety would be the only noise heard before that shotgun really barked.

Racking the slide combined with the clunk of a round hitting the floor as proof that it was loaded would certainly show that you really meant business...

Or that you were inept and were wasting rounds by dropping them on the floor.

The new law does not require a FID for pepper spray. Some people have interpreted it as being in effect now, while others think it starts on January 1.

I guess if you like chasing all those pellets around the floor
Interesting. I was wondering what changed but never actually looked into it.

Interesting. When I took the safety class easy back when I recall you needed it for pepper spray. Maybe something's changed?

I know there was some hub-bub a few years ago because an out of state college female had some and some guy tried to attack her, she used it and she got charged for not having the fid.

Same here, FID was required when I took the class. I just started seeing the advertisements recently. Sounds like it's still 'gray' until the 1st of the year but there are some shops who obviously feel confident about selling it.
