There's two lists and FFL's have a list of guns they can transfer in, so you'd have to check on both of them. Also you're supposed to keep all firearms locked and unloaded in MA…doesn't always happen but don't get fucked on the small shit…lawn ornaments aren't worth it...

I'm late to all the gun talk. Finally joined a range here, picked up a new 1911 that I can't wait to break in.

I am going to put my head on the block with this statement but I dont like 1911s. It is just my opinion but as a carry gun it makes me nervous. I carry the way I was trained one in the tube and safety off on a DA/SA. My buddy carries a 1911 and loves it and hasnt had an issue but there has been times during the day that he checks and the safety is off. It just takes one time and "cocked and locked" turns into just cocked and anything could happen. Plus it is one more step in getting your gun into the fight. I draw, point and shoot as opposed to draw, safety off, point and shoot.

There is a guy down the cape that sells all kinds of guns that are not compliant. He had the 380 but it's just me and the thought about getting screwed after useing it

I've love the design and function of a 1911, it's a tried and true design. But I got mine to plink with.

    I have a m&p 40c for a cc gun. Draw, point shoot

Yeah I love the history behind it also but all my handguns get carried based on season and concealment

Alot of people would disagree with me having different daily carry gun. The bitch I hear is you should be familiar with it and not have to think about what your carrying. I carry all the same action and in the same spot and use the same holster manufacturer

Lol...Go check the temp in your cellar; hell might have frozen over ;)

Nice, Bill. What'd those stones set you back, if you don't mind my asking? I have a similar setup in mind for a firepit out behind out house in the future.

NEVER too late for gun talk!! :D

Cocked, locked, nudge, just cocked, nudge, nudge, BOOM! NO COCK!!!

I carry with one up the pipe too; manual safety on and DA or DA/SA guns.

A 1911 is definitely on my short list of firearm wants, but most likely not as a carry gun.

No disagreement here; I rotate my carry unit depending on the season as well. I don't see a problem with it, that's why you practice.

S&W Bodyguard .380 for my typical summer carry
S&W M&P Shield for my typical winter carry
S&W 5906 for my "Holy-shit-it's-cold-out-where's-my-BIG-jacket" carry (since I'm way to small of a dude to conceal a 5906 under a shirt or a vest)

And twitching at every noise, real or imagined, too probably. ;)

Noel check out Crossbreed Holsters. I carry a 4516 without the big jacket and it is very comfortable for an iwb holster. I will get you some numbers on the stone. I have plants and trees involved as well.

X2, my bad Alex, I was thinking the same thing.
Mass compliant is very much open to interpretation... We have some confusing laws.
    Looks awesome!
Love the 1911s! Which one did you get? I have a Remington and really like it.
For a carry gun, I'd agree with that. Then again, as a carry gun, the 1911 is way too big for me to conceal anyways.
