If they're P265/70R16 that means they're a passenger rated tire and ideal for the Tacoma under normal uses and small to mid-sized SUV's like the 4Runner. Load range-wise, they're more than adequate for a Tacoma unless you haul very heavily every day or need the thicker sidewall for off roading. FWIW, I've only ever had P rated tires on my Tacoma since day 1.

John (or anyone else with projectors), ever have any trouble with the high beam solenoid sticking? I think I'm going to bite the bullet on either some D2S or H1 projectors (I think I'm leaning toward H1 the more I read about them). The solenoid is the only thing that scares me about them and I don't want to go low-beam only projectors (already have a set of those in my fogs).

I cycled the solenoid a bunch before I installed them. No problems. They are the mini moto h1s.

Apparently the new Morimoto Mini H1 Version 5 has a better resistance to solenoid sticking than previous versions also. I don't know when the V5 came out though.

No worries, I'm just concerned about functionality. I still have a lot of self-debating to do on the H1 vs. D2S. I'm thinking H1 with upgraded bulbs. They seem to rival the covetted FX-R's with the new bulbs. Looks like I'm gonna need some brighter lights on the light bar to keep up...

Thanks for the Infor dude. Trading sounds good. I'm just worried that since they p rated tires that when I do go offroading that they will break a sidewall. I dont wheel to much but I just wanna make sure Incase I do go know what I mean. But if they can hold the Tacoma fine and stuff ill take up.

Haha. You guys are too funny lol. I don't want the dunflops. I want a all terrain tire but not load E cause it sucks gas lol

It will still take some decent abuse to tear a sidewall. It won't resist punctures or slices quite a well as a load E tire but it still does take quite a bit to force something through a truck tire sidewall. When it comes to off roading, if you wanna play, you gotta pay (or at least expect to). Hate to say it but if money is tight, off roading with your daily driver probably isn't a wise decision... Blowing a tire is among the least expensive trail damage you can incur.

You are exactly right. You do gotta pay to play lol. I just always would ride my older vehicles really hard in they used to always break but now that I have a brand-new truck I want to keep it somewhat good condition lol. I think the p rated tires should be fine for my truck. My dad has p rated tires on his ram and they do fine np. Thanks for the help
