Sorry, the mustache has NEVER been off.....High school and Tech both had other ideas  NOT... There was dead silence when folks were seated for our wedding.....My beard disappeared for all of 48 hours BUT the "crow bar" has not left since '78....

I think it's a tie between my face and the top of my head at this point but I'm slowly migrating toward the same position you're in.

I shave once a week...I'm brutal on it. Use an old electric to knock down the stubble and then whatever old cheap razor I have laying around to go smooth.

I'm all about the stubble...I have a 2-3 day window I can give 1984 Don Johnson a run for his money. Then I hit the point where the fiancee doesn't want me near her...so I shave.

On a side note, I'm taking my truck in for an oil change on Friday and am going to give them a laundry list of annoyances:

    - 5-15 MPH shudder
    - Passenger Seat Rattle
    - Dash Rattle
    - Pinging
    - Shifting (?)

Who here wants to bet on their answers of what they'll say to get out of it. My thoughts are:

    - OMFG you have AT tires they're so blocky and are your problems. Last time I mentioned it I got "very aggressive tires" on the service order (rolls eyes). I'll have to point out the TSB and offer to swap on my Hankooks for the day. Honestly, I can live with it, but part of me wants to see if they'll give me the TSBs leafs (because why not, right?)
    - Can't find it
    - Can't find it
    - "Operating as designed" - a personal favorite
    - See above

    /rant.

The last time I had it in there for a suspension rattle I got a sarcastic "operating as designed" voicemail and had to take 2(!) techs out to show them the noise. The funny thing is the noise would happen the second I drove out of their lot.

Maybe if they give me a rental, I'll ask for a FR-S. :D

That vibration you get in the 5 - 15 range could actually be the tires. My A/Ts would do that when taking off and worse when braking as they aged. Mine also cupped as they aged which is what caused that. If it's not the tires, it's likely the carrier bearing, or rather the rubber around it. There's not a lot they can or will do about it unfortunately.

I had no issues with my snows. I thought they just put out a TSB for it so why not. I was more being sarcastic because of them instantly trying to blame anything but the truck.

It's completely livable so w/e if they can't fix it.

Too much mula. I would like a set of retro FX's but the stock lights do fine in my opinion.

Wow... $2k and there are still options to add more money!
I wouldn't even bother with the FX-R. They aren't any better than the D2S or H1 but are more of a PITA to install. Unless you're set on running a 55W HID system, there's really no advantage to the FX-R over the other kits.

    Morning, gentlemen!
    And Alex.

I realized this morning that as of 7PM this evening I'll have somehow managed to trick my girlfriend into sticking around for 10 years. Seems almost surreal to think that we've been dating for that long.

It's amazing what a little duct tape and a standard lockset can accomplish :D

    JK, congratulations!

Is it deer season? I drove past 3 separate groups late last night driving from Walpole to Easton on back roads.

Well then mini's but I don't have any problems with the stock headlights either. 2K is a lot of money for lights. We sell used lights here that cost that much but they are for 5 series and have adaptive light control.

I don't blame you. The stock headlights on the Tacoma were pretty good, especially with better bulbs. I did really like the retro look and damn they could light up the road! I want projectors in the Ferd :(
