Yeah my mom was saying "most ranges require stainless steel shot so they can pick it up with a magnet" and I'm like "lol stainless steel is non-magnetic mom"

Stainless steel can be magnetic, depends on the properties of the steel.

 

But 9/10 times it isnt

Just heard some good news from my mom. We're getting her late father's 1982 Toyota pickup with like 50k on it, new bed, new floors, new paint, rebuilt axles, trans, and a freshly tuned up 22r. It's painted a burnt orange.

She's getting it back from her asshole brother, finally. Might be a year or two til she gets it though because it's being worked on by the brother to restore it.

Of course, I'm going to try to snag it from her. But it'll stay stock. It's too nice of a truck to mess up.

I'll post pics when she finally gets it..

Hello everyone! Long time, hope all is well on the interweb (say with euro trash accent). I went to rocky mountain terrain park a couple of weeks ago. It was pretty awesome, most trails aren't that stock friendly but there is a lot to do. Oh, and be had a gun range set up also.

Depends on how much iron is in it. 304/316 SS are usually non ferrous (not magnetic) where as 409 stainless like what our factory exhaust systems are made out of usually is.

There are many other types of stainless as well. I highly doubt they are using a high grade stainless on bird shot so it very well could be magnetic.
