Thanks, did you see that I got the Mossberg running right finally?
I was supposed to work today but I found out Kendra had it off so I stayed home and worked on the house. I was doing drywall and framing all day.

    Jealous!

I want a solid day off just to work on my house. Not a day to run errands, to do work at my Mom's house, to wait 3(!) hours at the dealer for my truck, just to work on my house.

    (sigh)

I did, but neglected to mention it. Congrats on that too! Sympathies on the shoulder, but every hard-won victory comes with wounds.

Clean first, oil second. Make sure there's no extra parts leftover when you're done. If you can manage that, you're golden. Cleaning a gun's pretty simple, typically, although some of the new subcompact semi automatics have annoyingly quirky takedown requirements. One thing I love about my G19 is the ridiculously simple takedown procedure (despite the tendency of complete idiots to discharge a round after 'clearing' the chamber )

Amen to that! I almost had to resort to that trying to put my pistol back together  Fortunately, the brain fart passed and I remembered how all the parts went together before resorting to drastic measures.

    Mornin'.
Been a little more brisk in the mornings over the past week or two. I'm still riding in on the days it's not raining, but I've had to start wearing a sweatshirt under the motorcycle jacket in the mornings again.

Ever been to a chiropractor? If not, I'd recommend it, they are awesome!

    X2.
I worked in a crack doctor's office for several years, and some of the 'success stories' I saw were incredible. Also, some of the BS I saw from the medical doctors was ridiculous; people coming dosed up to the eyeballs on narcotics and muscle relaxants for chronic pain rather than actually trying to fix the underlying issues. I lost a lot of faith in the medical profession while I was working there.

    I definitely endorse chiropractic care.

The thing I liked about the chiropractor I saw was she gave me lifestyle change ideas on how to make the pain go away. She did a lot of realignment type stuff in the beginning but the tips she gave me helped me out so I didn't have to keep going back.
