Haha, until last night my alternator was still going strong, too!
I still trust the truck just fine. Being that it's as old as it is though I'm never surprised when something stops working correctly.

Probably somewhere between 7 - 10 years. That's about how long I kept the Tacoma. I feel like between 7 - 15 years is the proving for a lot of vehicles. It's either going to run forever or things will start to break. I don't intend to find out which end of the spectrum any of my vehicles will land on that. Of course, if finances dictate that I have to keep my truck longer, I take care of my stuff so hopefully they'll take care of me.

 

That's probably why he won't join.
