I am going insane here...I have FiOS so we have no Fox 25 right now...So I have a nice UHF antenna on the roof that is at least 25ft high...NOTHING from fox 25...I get 2,4, 5, 7,44 etc but zero chance on Fox. I went out and bought an amplified antenna to see if it would work and nothing...this is crap. I'm 20 miles from the transmitter...They must have a crap signal.

 

Yup, and holy fucking shit!!!

 

I swear as time goes on and more people get cable or satellite they make the signal more and more shitty

No worries, let me know if you want to see it up close. I don't know if they still make the 5204, but I seriously love the 2-way feature. I have about 1/8-1/4 mile range on it.

Yeah I have to believe they are making more money off carrier fees than commercials so they want people to have to get cable/FiOS etc...Hence the big fight between Fox and FiOS
Anyway after about an hour of fiddling and a trip to walmart to buy a powered antenna to see if I am crazy (it did not work so I reboxed it to return tomorrow)

I have a Yagi Backed With a Corner Reflector UHF antenna that was on a mast on my chimney...I moved it to the attic to bypass the old 2-wire leads and go straight to coax...and with wife's help and speakerphone I was able to get 2-3 bars...good enough for Digital! It's suspended in my attic at a crazy angle using twine and tack nails.

I have a remote start. It is an audiovox. Utilizes the factory remote. So no additional key fobs. I don't know who did the install as it was in the truck when I purchased it.. The dealer I purchased it from didn't know as the hood switch never tripped. I figured it out when I was putting in my bed cap lighting last year. I only use it in the winter. It guzzles gas to say the least. I forget it is on.. It has an auto shut off after 15 mins. that is adjustable.
